I’ve kicked my calendar into high-gear, and have been doing more socializing recently, trying to earn my . For a while there, I was in a “hang out and chill at home” phase, but now I’m in a “hey, that sounds fun, sure I want to go” phase. I’m working on better names for those phases, but for now, straight-up literal will have to work. Ah! My columns! I have some fun ones to post from last week and this week. First, how nasty girls can be! I offer a hint at our dirtiness in GIRL TALK. My column out this week is about clubbing it goth style with the legendary Robin Roth. I called it FAIRY GOTHMOTHER. I still have to upload all the other pics from that night at Ascension (club at Kava Lounge, happening again this Saturday) and post on my Flickr account.

A few of the things I’ve been doing, and am looking forward to doing. Went to see Kooza, the Cirque du Soleil show currently showing in Del Mar. It was my favorite Cirque show so far! But I’m still holding out for O, I think that’s going to be the topper. I need to plan a trip to Vegas. Tonight I’m attending the SoundDiego launch party at Basic. Also on the list for things I can’t wait to check out this month: The new Polar Bear Plunge exhibit at the San Diego Zoo. The new Hubble film at the IMAX theater at the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. And, last in the month (on the very last day, March 31), but CERTAINLY not least, the Fireman Auction at Rock Bottom, which YOURS TRULY will be emceeing! Nothing like playing with a bunch of hot firemen on stage, and for a great cause — 100% of the proceeds will go to the amazing UCSD Burn Center to help burn victims and programs for burned children. It’s not just firemen we’re auctioning off, but also lots of fun packages and gifts that have been donated from organizations all over the county, so please think about coming out and participating!
