Zoo and Radio
So we made it home from Montreal in one piece, though we had a hell of a time trying to get back into the states, and I put all the anxiety-inducing details in my column for next week. This week’s column is much more relaxing, it’s all about the World Famous San Diego Zoo! I called it Animal Magnetism. You can reach the video on that link, or you can simply CLICK HERE. BIG NEWS! Tomorrow, between 12 p.m. and 1 p.m., I will be on David Coddon’s Union Tribune radio show, Into the Night. We’ll be talking about everything from the upcoming SD Music Awards, to why I think Sarah Palin is the devil. Now here is my request for you. Listen to us live on streaming radio, and CALL IN with your OWN opinions on our topics and we’ll discuss them with you on the air! The number is (866) 818-6384, and it would be great if you’d call in between noon and one to tell us what you think about whichever topic we’re covering, be it the booze ban, politics, or Proposition H8, which I plan to bring up. Again, that’s (866)- 818-6384. Give us a call as you listen in live!
Now, speaking of those things I mentioned, I am incensed with Not-for-Equal-Paylin. There is so much riding on this election, like a woman’s right to choose, a homosexual’s right to marry, our standing with foreign entities, unity of the nation, and cultural progress overall. I’ve never been so personally interested/involved in politics as I am this year, because finally, I feel the real threat to this country if the religious right remain in control. Palin offends me on more levels than I can count, and McCain is old and out of touch. Severely out of touch. I don’t fall very far to the left, I consider myself closer to the middle on the left side. But these people are ALL THE WAY to the right, and if they win, they will tip the balance further in the direction of 1984. I’m updating all the time on Twitter with the latest news I come across regarding the campaigns, so I invite you to follow me there (box on the right) if you are interested. Now, back to work for me, and I hope you get the chance to call in and say hi to me tomorrow!
